Rippey will be alive with activities on Saturday, July 30, with Rippey Fun Daze sponsored by the local Lions Club.
Following the Rippey 150+ in 2021, this will continue the tradition of yearly festivals from earlier years.
The event will begin at noon with a car show on Main Street with food vendors and the Rippey public library selling walking tacos. There will also be an ice cream social at the Rippey United Methodist from 11 am to 1 pm.
A craft vendor fair will begin at noon north of the Rippey baseball park. Bouncy houses will be in that location for children.
The Fun Daze will conclude with a baseball game at 5 pm at Walt Anderson field with two of the adult teams from Des Moines.
Persons who want more information can contact Rippey Lions Club secretary Nancy Hanaman, at 515-436-7684.
